school's really fun!
yes, i know how that sounds, but it really is!
(if you discount tests and hw and all that, which actually isn't that bad cause even staying back to study is rather fun with the right company (: )

today Pong and i were really happy people (:
talk about monday blues. haha.
i think the protected time on monday mornings makes us much happier people (:

and chem lecture today was really funny!

chem lecturer (i dont know his name), "Today's my CT rep's birthday!"
(cause his form class was in the lecture group too)
so everyone starts singing happy birthday and aforementioned CT rep gets huge poster saying "We Love _____" from his friends.

then after everybody quietened down, yujun and some other 3H people sitting at the other end of our row started singing happy birthday!
at first pong and i really thought it was someone's birthday, then we realised they were singing for yonghaoyao!
even though it was obviously not his birthday.
and they called him yong hao again.
so the chem lecturer went,
"whose birthday? Yong Hao ah."
or something like that.
and it was terribly funny, especially the whole Yong Hao thing, which is like a class inside joke (:

Poor yonghaoyao, his fate was sealed the day the PE teacher accidentally called him Yong Hao during the PE briefing

chem lessons are really funny!
be it prac or tutorial.
like during one of the tutorials last week.

Mr Ng, "So i have cis-trans, trans-cis, cis-cis and trans-trans right?"
Leon, "I'm in a trance now."

Mr Ng (on the number of structural isomers for a compound with 3 double bonds and 2 different groups and everyone was already very muddled up),
"So if i add another double bond here, then how?"
Leon, "Skip question."

haha! (:

and because Mr Ng's really particular about s.f.s and workings and everything for Skill C of chem pracs, he makes us check our answers with him first so he can mark on the spot.
and we can only proceed on to skill D if we get every single nitty gritty detail correct.
but the thing is he doesn't tell you what's wrong if something's wrong so you have to go figure it out by yourself.
and sometimes you have to go up to him like 3-4 times before you finally get everything right.
which can be frustrating but quite funny too.

so anw during prac today,
i think yonghaoyao was really frustrated at going up so many times,
so when Mr Ng spotted yet another thing he wasn't satisfied with,
yonghaoyao let out a really loud non-human sounding grunt!
it was really funny!
cause most people were working on their skill D already and the grunt was really quite loud!
hahaha (:

i think we're lucky to get such nice teachers.
most of our lessons are that much more interesting/funny because of them
(:

oh and on a sidenote,
because it was SO hot today, pong weiming and i dropped by J8 to get yami yoghurt!
Yami yoghurt's so so so nice, perfect for a hot day (:
